LOCAL SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
Pieces Board Game Bar and Restaurant

Pieces Board Game Bar and Restaurant is a fun city hangout that blends a board game cafe with a full-service restaurant and bar! After spending eight years at its original location, it moved in February 2025 to a larger home near to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. The new space adds occupies a building that once served as a police station, and four former holding cells have been renovated into private game rooms called “vaults.” The building also houses Pieces’ sister store, Antagonist Cafe.

Pieces offers a library of more than 1,000 board games, making it feel as much like a social destination as a restaurant. The restaurant offers a full dinner menu, weekend brunch, cocktails and mocktails. If interested in playing games, simply pay a $3 per person fee for access to the game library. Tuesday nights are free gaming!
