LOCAL SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
City Foundry STL

When you step into Midtown’s City Foundry STL, you’re witnessing the merging of past and present. What used to be a Century Electric foundry built in 1929 now pulses with life as a 15‑acre, $300 million adaptive‑reuse development. The true story isn’t just about the bricks and mortar—it’s the community inside. At lunch, the Food Hall’s 17 kitchens and 13 local shops buzz with hungry patrons grabbing globally inspired bites. A movie theater, mini-golf, VR experience, and more round out the fun!

City Foundry’s impact goes beyond fun: the site created 800‑plus permanent jobs for the region. Current Food Hall hours are Sunday 9 a.m.–8 p.m., Monday–Thursday 10 a.m.–9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.–10 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
