City Mouse Vintage

Out with the new. In with the old. Welcome to City Mouse - A cute lil vintage shop at 2016 Cherokee Street. Mouse offers a cleverly curated collection of vintage clothing and accessories, tchotchkes, housewares, books, art, and records from the 90’s and earlier. The prices are nice and the dressing room - legendary. Shop Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 (or by chance).

🎉 The Holiday Buzz

As St. Louis lights up with holiday cheer, we’ve got you covered on all the experiences opening this weekend!

  • ☃️ WonderLight’s Christmas (World Wide Technology Raceway) – Opening night of this drive‑through light show features over one million LED lights synchronized to holiday music. Guests tune their car radio to an FM station and journey through tunnels and animated displays within the racetrack; tickets are sold per vehicle. Runs November 14-January 4 (open on holidays), 5-10 pm. Price: $30 per standard car.

  • 🎅 Santa’s Magical Kingdom (Jellystone Park Resort) – Families pile into wagons, trains or their own cars to tour this sprawling holiday wonderland. Millions of lights depict animated scenes, from elves baking cookies to reindeer taking flight. Warm up by the fire at Kringle’s General Store and wave to Santa- per‑vehicle admission applies. Cash only! Runs November 14-January 4 (open on holidays), 5:30-10:30 pm, end time 10 pm after Christmas. Price: $35 per standard car.

  • 🌹 Garden Glow (Missouri Botanical Garden) – More than one million lights transform the Garden’s landscapes. Wander light tunnels, sip spiced cider around fire pits and roast s’mores. Tickets are timed and certain nights include carolers and Santa visits. Runs November 15-January 3 (open November 14 members only, closed Nov 17, 27, Dec 24, 25), time and price varies by night.

  • 🎄 The Polar Express Train Ride (Union Station) – Board decorated railcars for a re‑creation of the beloved story. Costumed characters punch your golden ticket, serve hot cocoa and cookies, and lead a sing‑along as you journey to the “North Pole.” All riders in November also receive a free ticket to one attraction in The Wheel Park! Runs November 14-December 30, Departures at 4:15 pm, 6 pm, 7:15 pm (8:30 pm added select nights).

Friday, November 14th

  • 🤣 Flyover Comedy Festival (various locations)- St. Louis’s comedy scene bursts to life this weekend as the Flyover Comedy Festival returns to St. Louis. Running Nov. 13-16, the festival boasts over 40 shows across 10 stages and features 150+ comedians. Headliners include Aziz Ansari, Kyle Kinane, and more. Wristbands grant access to multiple shows, and individual tickets are available for headliner performances.

  • 🚴 Gateway Outdoor Expo & Summit (St. Charles Convention Center)- With more than 200 exhibitors, this free expo is a paradise for runners, bikers, climbers and paddlers. Try out the newest gear, attend workshops on backcountry cooking and bike maintenance, and connect with outfitters from across the Midwest. It runs all weekend, but Friday’s soft opening means smaller crowds and early access to seminars.

  • 🎨 City Nights: Local Dive (City Museum)- Close out the City Nights season with a hands-on art party blending music, dance, and creativity. Paint a mural, add to a community puzzle, and groove to DJ Rafael while exploring the museum after hours. 7 pm - 11 pm.

  • 🪩 Love Like Jackson Silent Prom (Ballwin Golf Club)- Dance the night away to your own beat at a silent prom benefitting a wonderful St. Louis organization. Love Like Jackson is a local nonprofit that has been supporting grieving children after the loss of siblings. Through art, music, and play therapy, Love Like Jackson helps kids navigate their grief. 6 pm-9 pm.

Saturday, November 15th

  • 👠 Bloc Head Flipped Fashion Show (Casa Loma Ballroom)- Step into St. Louis’s most creative runway mash-up at the Bloc Party, where 9 local designers redefine slow fashion. Enjoy a local vendor market, live tunes by DJ Makossa, on-site merch printing, and a hair & makeup competition- plus eats from Sugarfire BBQ. Market opens at 2 pm for ticket holders; show starts at 5 pm. The Night Market opens to the public at 6:30 pm for a $5 cover.

  • 🧑‍🔬 SciFest: Sci‑FEAST (St. Louis Science Center) – Part science fair, part food festival, this free family event invites you to meet local scientists, sample edible insects, explore hydroponic gardens and learn about sustainable agriculture. Hands‑on activities make science approachable for kids and adults. 9:30 am- 4:30 pm.

  • 📖 St. Louis Storytelling Festival (Various locations) – Hosted by the St. Louis County Library, this free festival, running Nov. 10-16, brings in some of the best storytellers in the country. Immerse yourself in their tales at various locations around St. Louis, such as the Clark Family Branch and Missouri History Museum. The festival also include workshops on writing and storytelling, and is free to attend.

  • 🎼 The Lion King in Concert (Powell Symphony Hall)- Watch Disney’s animated classic on a giant screen while the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra performs the Oscar‑winning score live. Children and adults can rediscover the Circle of Life with songs by Elton John and Hans Zimmer. Performances run Saturday and Sunday.

  • 🏠 Mill Creek – Black Metropolis Exhibit (Missouri History Museum)- The opening day of this exhibit dives into the history of Mill Creek Valley, once a thriving Black community. Through artifacts, photographs and oral histories, it illustrates the neighborhood’s culture and its eventual destruction during urban renewals. This new exhibit runs until July 2026. Admission is free.

Sunday, November 16th

  • 🦖 Jurassic Quest & Brick Fest Live (Gateway Center, Collinsville)- Two events share one venue: in Jurassic Quest you’ll walk among roaring animatronic dinosaurs, dig for fossils and even ride a T‑Rex. Next door, Brick Fest offers build zones and sculptures made from more than one million LEGO bricks. This event runs November 14-16. Passes can be bundled for both attractions.

  • 🎼 Brandy and Monica: The Boy is Mine Tour (Enterprise Center)- Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine Tour” reunites the iconic duo for their first-ever co-headlining tour, celebrating their 1998 Grammy-winning hit. The tour features special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and Jamal Roberts. Showtime is 7 pm.

  • 🧆 Sunday Brunch Cruise (Gateway Arch Riverboats)- This weekend is the last Sunday Brunch cruise of the year! Savor a chef‑prepared brunch buffet with carved meats, pastries and bottomless coffee while a live band provides smooth jazz. The two‑hour cruise up and down the Mississippi offers scenic views of the Gateway Arch and riverfronts. Cruise runs 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.

  • 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 Family Sundays: Crumble and Create (Saint Louis Art Museum)- Every Sunday has a new theme, and on Nov 16 the museum pairs an alchemy experiment with a family‑friendly gallery tour at 2:30 pm. Enjoy a traditional German dance performance by the German Cultural Society of St. Louis as well. Event runs 1-4 pm.

UnGUN Institute runs “free store” during SNAP delay: Marty Casey’s UnGUN Institute, founded in 2020, set up a “free store” after the May tornado. Currently located at the Friendly Village senior living facility in Hamilton Heights, this store continues to operate not only for those affected by the storm, but those needing assistance due to recent pauses in benefits. Twice a week, volunteers distribute clothing, toiletries and groceries to the community.
