Sugarwitch

Sugarwitch is a proudly queer-owned and operated ice cream parlor located in the historic Old Carondelet Bakery in South St. Louis. Specializing in small-batch, from-scratch frozen treats, the shop is best known for its inventive ice cream sandwiches, each playfully named after famous witches from literature and lore. 🌻 Welcoming March: Highlights You Shouldn’t Miss

  • Art in Bloom 2026 (Saint Louis Art Museum)
    This free, annual festival pairs dozens of breathtaking works from the museum's collection with imaginative, massive floral arrangements designed by the region’s top florists. Throughout the weekend, members can take advantage of early Member Hours (8–10 am), while all guests can engage with volunteer educators during the Let’s Talk Flowers gallery sessions. The program includes creative outlets like the Toddler and Me workshops and Family Florals art activities, alongside the Flower Happy Hour, which offers refreshments in Sculpture Hall. Friday: 8 am - 8 pm; Saturday: 8 am - 5 pm; Sunday: 8 am- 4 pm.

  • Totally Rad Vintage Fest! (America's Center) 
    Step into an absolute time warp of style and nostalgia. Vendors from all over are coming together to specialize in clothing, toys, and accessories from the 80s, 90s, and Y2K eras. If you've been looking to elevate your wardrobe with some authentic throwback pieces, this is your holy grail. Saturday & Sunday: 10 am- 5 pm.

  • 2026 Spring Bridge Championship (America's Center)- This event is the premier 10-day tournament attracting players from across the country, but it offers opportunities for everyone down to brand new bridge players. Beyond competitive play, the tournament offers extensive educational opportunities, such as "Learn Bridge in a Day" sessions and free daily lectures from celebrity bridge experts for newbies. Runs through March 8, hours vary.

  • SciFest: Engineering Expo (Saint Louis Science Center) - This free, all-day expo is taking over the Science Center to celebrate the world of engineering. Bring the family to meet real-life professionals, dive into hands-on building challenges, and see how STEM concepts come to life in the real world. 9:30 am.

  • 5th Annual Bellefontaine Garage Sale (Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum)- A completely unique thrifting experience! Head over to the scenic and historic Bellefontaine Cemetery grounds to hunt for hidden gems during their annual massive garage sale held in the service yard. 9 am-12 pm.

  • St. Louis Blues vs. New Jersey Devils (Enterprise Center) - Let's Go Blues! The boys are taking the ice against the Devils for a Saturday afternoon clash. 4 pm.

Sunday, March 1st

  • STL Coffee Fest (City Foundry STL) - Need a little caffeine to close out your weekend? Following a sold-out inaugural year, STL Coffee Fest returns to 18Rails at the City Foundry! From casual morning sippers to seasoned baristas, you can sample incredible roasts from the city's best local coffee shops. Runs Saturday and Sunday. Sunday hours are 9 am- 2 pm.

  • Christopher Cross (The Factory)- Sail away into Monday with a smooth Sunday night set from the legend of soft rock himself. Christopher Cross brings his five Grammys and timeless hits like "Sailing" and "Arthur's Theme" to the Factory stage. Show at 7:30 pm.

  • Resilience: A Sansei Sense of Legacy (St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum)- This moving exhibition features the work of eight Japanese-American artists reflecting on their history and the legacy of the Japanese-American incarceration camps during WWII. A powerful dose of culture and history to round out your week. This exhibit runs through April 4. 10:00 am-4:30 pm.
