Y2K, Baby!
Dust off your flip phones and cue the dial-up tone. Hidden Gem is turning back the clock with its newest immersive pop-up experience, Y2K, Baby!, a high-gloss, low-rise, fully nostalgic
celebration of the early 2000s.
Running May 8 - June 27 , Y2K, Baby! transforms Hidden Gem’s backroom into a neon time capsule packed with millennium-era magic. Think metallic everything, butterfly clips, CD walls, and photo ops straight out of your AIM away message dreams. The space invites guests to step into a world inspired by the icons, trends, and chaotic charm of the Y2K era.
The drink menu features 14 signature cocktails, mocktails and shots that feel like they were ripped from your burned mix CDs. Highlights include “Slime Time,” a tequila and melon drink with orange pop rocks rimmed glass; “That’s Hot,” a bold mix with citrus flavors and a spicy kick; and “Baby Bottle Pop,” a tropical rum drink served in a baby bottle with a nostalgic twist. Zero-proof options will also be available.
Food offerings lean into playful, school lunch inspired cravings including Hidden Gem’s signature hot dog, the “Lisa Frank”, as well as Smiley Fries, Chicken Nuggets, and even Lunchables.
Reservations open April 27 at www.drinkhiddengem.com. Pricing is $5 per person for evening reservations and $15 per person for matinees, with limited walk-in availability.
