Women in the Wild - Canoeing/Kayaking 101 - at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park. Participants will learn how to safely operate a Canoe OR a Kayak and enjoy an evening of floating, plus hot dogs and s'mores after the time on the water is finished. Meet at the Tremayne Picnic Shelter (13725 Marine Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63146). Be sure to register for either a two person CANOE or a single person KAYAK or to bring your OWN watercraft. Two sessions available: 6:30-8pm & 8pm-9:30pm.

Women in the Wild is a series featuring park rangers, guest speakers and outdoor experiences for women (only) who are interested in learning more about outdoor recreational activities. Activities include fishing, building a campfire and cooking over it, geocaching, canoeing at sunset, ranger led hikes, an overnight campout, exploring Cliff Cave, and more. Sessions are held at different County Parks. Must be 18 or older to participate. See the "Programs/Activities" tab on the website for more info and to register for one or more sessions.
