Thomas Jefferson's Notes on the Murder by Owen Brown is a Bread and Wine Theatre Company production, directed by Eric Satterfield, produced by Owen Brown, staged managed by Tara Laurel, and costumed by Sonya Valentine with graphic design by Mary Keane.

It is taken close to verbatim from eyewitness accounts found in Thomas Jefferson's An Appendix to the Notes on the State of Virginia Relative to the Murder of Logan's Family first published in 1800 and John Adlum's Memoirs of the Year 1794. Eyewitnesses grapple with the Yellow Creek Massacre of April 1774 and the resultant violence's which ultimately led to Logan's Lament. Their disparate accounts, seen through Jefferson’s eyes, invite audiences into a haunting narrative from America’s history in which forgiveness is the only way out.
