Third Friday at Third Degree Glass
Have you ever witnessed a battle that uses hot, molten glass as its weapon?! Well, Third Friday is your chance. Get ready for some fiery competition in the hot shop. The showdown will start at 7:15 with back-to-back demos as two teams of glass artists vie for your vote: Whose St. Louis-themed piece is the best? (Plus, you'll help choose what they make!)
Experiences will be going on in the hot shop and kiln studio, live music by Dodging Potholes, fun cocktails, food, a raffle & more!
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Glassblowing demos at 6:15, 7:15 & 8:15 pm
- 6:15 Demo: Studio manager Cole Harmon will show off the special techniques he used for his exhibition pieces, Happy-Go-Lucky/Devil-May-Care, which opens in the gallery May 7.
- 7:15 & 8:15 Demos: Get ready to watch two teams of glass artists battle it out with hot, molten glass. Help decide what St. Louis-themed piece each team will make and at the end, vote on your favorite! The winner will be added to the Holiday Window Display in November.
