Third Degree Glass Factory presents Third Friday on Friday, August 21!

On the Third Friday of every month from 5 to 10 pm, come to Third Degree Glass Factory for glass blowing demonstrations, private experiences, raffles, exhibits, food & drinks, and live music.

Just because summer is winding down doesn't mean the fun has to stop. Come to SMASH! An End of Summer Bash on Aug. 21. Something making you mad? Curious how strong glass really is? Grab a piece of glass & smash it - therapy sesh done. Or, choose to take it home fully intact. (Tip: Smashing is so satisfying.)

• Glassblowing Demos: Focusing on a couple iconic STL foods this month. Both pieces will become part of the holiday window display.
  • 6:15 pm: You either love it, or you hate it ... IMO'S PIZZA!
  • 8:15 pm: Glass artists are going to pick a favorite treat from TED DREWES to recreate. Molten glass into ice cream? Of course!
• Flame Demo at 7:15 pm: Get up close and personal with a flame artist on the torch in the glass gallery.
• Live Music by Blackbird Katy
• Exhibition: Catch the latest exhibition, Lines, by Springfield Art Association glass studio manager Mario Clarke, on display through Aug. 28.
• Kiln Experience: Make an adorable glass goldfish bowl!
