
The Big Draw Festival 2026 (September 12 & 13)
The St. Louis Artists' Guild is proud to host its second annual The Big Draw Festival 2026 on Saturday, September 12 from 9am-4pm, and Sunday, September 13 from 9am-1pm!
The Big Draw is the world's largest celebration of drawing, uniting people through the power of creativity. This two-day family-friendly event features fun, inspiring drawing activities designed to spark creativity and inspire participants through art!
Activities include:
- The Big Draw Sidewalk Chalk Competition (Saturday, September 12)
- Artists 16 years and older compete for cash prizes by creating a four-foot by four-foot sidewalk chalk artwork in five hours!
- The entry fee for the sidewalk chalk competition is $35. Juror Bryan Walsh will award first, second, and third place prizes, totaling $600 in cash.
- The Big Draw Bingo
- A fun opportunity for event attendees to try new and exciting drawing activities. All of The Big Draw Bingo activities are free and open to the public.
- After completing three activities on the Bingo card, participants can enter a raffle for a chance to win prizes.
- Live pancake performance by Dr. Dan & Wellamade of The Joy of Pancakes
- Caricature drawings by artist Emma White
- Posed at Night (Saturday, September 12)
- A clothed figure drawing session where participants purchase tickets to create drawings inspired by two scenes from historical paintings.
- Free mini classes
- Try your hand at a variety of media, such as ink and powdered graphite, in friendly 90-minute sessions.
