Suzy Farren: SOLILOQUY (September 13 – November 15)

The Kingsbury Gallery presenst SOLILOQUY an exhibition from Suzy Farren September 13 - November 15!

Suzy Farren's work has been in some 75 art shows nationally and has received a variety of awards. Her work is characterized by physicality and a constant curiosity.

"In a soliloquy, a character expresses inner thoughts out loud on stage. Similarly, this body of work expresses my intuitive self out loud. Starting with a coat of black house paint, I layer on additional paint and paper. As I scrape and sand the surface, shapes and textures are revealed. A stroke of paint here, a found scrap there; the repetitive process of reflecting and responding eventually reveals a finished piece."  S. Farren
