Solar Sundays at the McDonnell Planetarium. Meet outside the McDonnell Planetarium to enjoy safely viewing the Sun through a variety of solar telescopes and safe viewing techniques and see features like sunspots and solar prominences. These events are FREE and weather permitting. Solar Sundays occur on the 3rd Sunday (ONLY) of each month, between Labor Day and Memorial Day, 11am-3pm.
