Pajama Party

Join the Saint Louis Zoo for Pajama Party, an after-hours theme night on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. with last entry at 7:30 p.m. The event invites families to wear pajamas and explore the Zoo after-hours, with storybook readings at various animal habitats and a special Zootime story at Schnuck Family Plaza where milk and cookies are available for purchase. Readings and activities span multiple venues, including readings such as ‘A Sleuth of Bears’ at the Cheetah habitat and ‘Pizotito and the Wonders of the Dry Forest’ read by author Laura Toro González, among others, across locations like River’s Edge, Primate Canopy Trails, Discovery Corner, Polar Bear Point, and Penguin & Puffin Coast. The event is family-friendly and free for all guests; no reservations are required, and free parking on both Zoo lots begins at 4 p.m., though note that some areas may close early (including River’s Edge and Red Rocks).
