Join us in celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day with some educational activities, and a special Frybread Demonstration led by Saundra L. McClain-Kloeckener, member of the Native Women's Care Circle, educational consultant, teacher, and storyteller, and retired educator from the Rockwood R-6 School District.
Through storytelling and demonstration, Saundra will share the cultural significance of frybread and explore the traditions, resilience, and experiences of Indigenous communities. This engaging presentation offers an opportunity to learn about Native heritage through food, history, and personal narratives while honoring the contributions and enduring cultures of Indigenous peoples.
