Horticulture Class – Oaks 101

Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum presents Horticulture Class - Oaks 101 on Tuesday, August 11!

Join Horticulture Supervisor, Andy Clubb, in exploring the fascinating world of oak trees in this engaging class. We delve deep into their biology, history, and ecological importance. Participants will learn some key ways to identify various oak species, uncover their unique adaptations, and discover their vital role in supporting wildlife. The session will conclude with a tour of our grounds, where attendees can experience the majesty of these trees firsthand.

It is free to attend with a suggested donation of $15 per person. Space is limited and registration is required.

Please wear appropriate walking attire.
Please arrive at the main entrance between 15 to 20 minutes before class time for a prompt departure.
