Endangered Species Day
Endangered Species Day at the Saint Louis Zoo invites all guests to learn about conservation efforts for endangered species both here at the Zoo and across the world. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, and is free for all visitors. Attendees can visit tables with Zoo experts, speak to specialists in animal care and research, participate in children’s activities that highlight endangered animals, and attend scheduled keeper chats. Sustainable merchandise in gift shops supports animals’ habitats, and The Bubble Bus offers additional experiences. Guests are encouraged to bring wish-list enrichment items for the animals with gift drop-offs at both Zoo entrances.
