Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is a non-scary, kid-friendly Halloween event at the Saint Louis Zoo presented by SSM Health Cardinal Glennon. It runs on select nights from October 9 to October 30, 2026, with a sensory-friendly Night on October 12. The event takes place across an expanded footprint including Historic Hill and features festive decorations and animals to see. Admission is $13 for Zoo Members and $16 for General Admission, with free entry for children ages 0–23 months; events run from 17:00 to 20:30 with last entry at 20:00. Included attractions include Primate House, 4D Theater, Conservation Carousel, Dinoroarus, Herpetarium, Insectarium, Sea Lion Tunnel, and Stingrays at Caribbean Cove; some experiences such as Wild Explorer Virtual Reality and the Zooline Railroad have additional fees. It is explicitly not a trick-or-treat event.
