Big Boy 4014 Steam Locomotive Comes to Union Station. Calling all train enthusiasts! Big Boy 4014 is the world's largest operating steam locomotive and is making a coast-to-coast tour in celebration of America's 250th birthday. It will be on display in St. Louis for one day only! Big Boy leaves Union Station on Monday, July 20th at 9:30am. It will make additional 15 minute viewing stops that day in Pacific, Missouri at 12:30pm and in Hermann, Missouri at 3:15pm.
