Animals Aglow

Animals Aglow is a twilight lantern festival at the Saint Louis Zoo presented by Wells Fargo, running March 13–May 17, 2026. Guests stroll the Zoo at night to view hundreds of hand-constructed lantern displays illuminated by thousands of LED lights, depicting animals, plants, and traditional Chinese elements, with a roaming panda character appearing nightly. The event is a collaboration with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc. and features cultural elements and handicrafts for purchase; note that no cultural performances are scheduled this year. The nightly hours vary: 18:30–21:30 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and 18:30–22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays; tickets are required for the event with peak and non-peak pricing for members and non-members.
